Biological Activity:Analog of the phytoestrogen genistein (5,7-Dihydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one ).Blocks G 1 phase cell cycle progression and is an agonist at estrogen receptors.
